The common joke was that the “H” that stood as the icon for the History Channel stood for Hitler, since that is who you typically saw whenever you turned on that channel.
Now with all this paranormal programming nonsense going on it like 2012, “Hysteria” is a more apt term?
My, this crap must sell well with the program marketers?

Wed, September 30, 2009 - 5:53 PMMy wife and I used to call it the "All World War 2, all the time" channel. They expanded and for several years had some excellent programming, but now I have to agree that they've slipped into "Hype" or "Hysteria".
Saw some large posters and cardboard cut-outs for 2012. I laughed quite loudly when I saw them. The wife remarked that she always enjoyed a good disaster flick (Towering Inferno, et al). 2012 could be a good one to throw popcorn at the screen! -

Wed, September 30, 2009 - 6:59 PMHere is the current trailer for 2012. This movie has all sorts of disasters rolled into one single movie including an aircraft carrrier landing on top of the White House. The movie is so over the top, but I suspect the hard core 2012 believers will take it as a confirmation of their predictions.

Re: The “H” is not for Hitler anymore…
Thu, October 1, 2009 - 7:11 AMI will likely wait till I can order it on Netflix. Maybe I will wait and view it on December 21, 2012. (like the Y2K party I attended) There are sure to be more movies by then that cash in on the Mayan predictions.
